The St Woolos Players is a registered charity. (see the Charity page for more information).

We are supported by funding from:

  • the Friends of The St Woolos Players, who support us by subscription. Read more on the “Friends” page.
  • the Players themselves who pay a modest subscription. Read more on the Orchestra page.
  • income from concerts.

St Woolos Sinfonia have been very grateful for donations from private persons for specific concerts, or otherwise, in the past. Without those generous contributions, some of the previous musically very successful projects would not have been possible.

We invite private persons or organisations/businesses to support the orchestra by sponsoring, for instance, a specific concert. This, of course, would be acknowledged, with prior agreement by the sponsor, both during the concert, in the programmes and the preceding advertising activities. This is truly essential for the orchestra, would support our charitable intention, is tax deductible, and may indeed be a welcomed opportunity for businesses and their public relations.
